‘Kernow Connect with The Dreadnought Centre’ : One to One Workers required for delivery across Cornwall.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join The Dreadnought Centre team delivering one to one sessions to young people across Cornwall as part of the ‘Kernow Connect with The Dreadnought Centre’ project. This project is a needs led, referral only service, delivering a range of complimentary therapeutic interventions offering support to young people, aged 11+, with a specialist need, usually identified by a professional.
The Dreadnought Centre works within a person centred philosophy offering young people empathy and unconditional acceptance. Our work is child focused and child led and we use creative arts in the widest sense, to engage young people. One to one workers will ideally have experience in working with emotional and mental health and wellbeing and have a therapeutic qualification to a minimum of level 4 or equivalent, or be able to demonstrate relevant work experience.
One to one workers will be required to travel to a variety of locations, including schools, to deliver sessions.
There are two contracted positions available, each for 16 hours per week, pro rata of £20,444 per annum, to cover the Mid, North and East of Cornwall.
