Volunteer Training.
We are running an ‘Introduction to working with children and young people’ training session on Tuesday 6th January from 9.30 am – 3.30pm for all new Volunteers. This will take place at The Wadebridge Christian Centre, PL27 7DR.
It is important that all Volunteers attend the Induction Training as we cover such issues as : Confidentiality, Health & safety, Child Protection and the ethos and philosophy behind the working practice of Dreadnought.
This will also give you the opportunity to decide whether Dreadnought is right for you.
Please let Judy Osmond (01209 218764 – judy@thedreadnought.co.uk ) know if you would like to attend this training. If you are unable to make this date but are still interested in becoming a Volunteer – please contact Judy.
Volunteers are our most valuable resource that’s why, unlike most similar organisations, we employ a Volunteer Co-ordinator whose job it is to look after you!
Interested?
Contact Judy at our Pool Centre.
A couple of hours a week can make a real difference.
